Rules and regulations

ANY STUDENTS (UG AND PG) CAN PARTICIPATE.
• A Team will have four members.
• Participating teams can register through Euphoria-2k22 website.

• Any number of teams from the same institution can participate in the event.
• Participants can follow the PPT format available in the website along with the problem statement.
• Idea should be submitted on or before July 31st, 5 pm through the mail (euphoriahackathon2k22@gmail.com).
During the idea submission phase, participants are required to submit their idea using the shared ppt, along with a PDF report
and 6 minute voiceover presentation(euphoriahackathon2k22@gmail.com).
• The names of shortlisted teams will be announced on August 1st 2022.
• Shortlisted teams will be notified through their registered mail id.
• Selected teams can implement their ideas during final stage.
• Duration of hackathon is 6 hours.
• Event will be conducted on August 12 th Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
• Participants must present their college id-card to gain entry to the event.
• Contesting teams are requested to bring their laptop and charger.
• Basic facilities (internet, electricity, workspace, and food) will be provided.
• Teams can use libraries, frameworks, or open-source code in their projects. Working on a project before the event and open-sourcing it for the sole purpose of using the code during the event is against the spirit of the rules and is not allowed.
• The responsibility of the components and the materials required for developing the prototype during the hackathon lies solely on the participating teams.
• Teams should maintain the schedule provided by the volunteers.
• The decision of the judges will be final.

• Participants need to design a responsive website containing 4 or more pages based on the given topic (topic will be provided at the venue) and present it to the judges.
• Decision of the judges will be final. First page must be your Homepage (Containing LOGO/picture depicting the topic and the website name).
• Other pages must be dedicated to your discussion suitable for the website.
• Every participant will be allotted a computer system from our side for developing the website.
• Use of any electronic devices other than the allotted computer system during the development phase will lead to immediate disqualification.

RULES and REGULATIONS

• A team must consist of 4 members. All members of a team should be from the same college.
• Participants should carry their college id with them inside the college premises.
• No participant can be a member of more than one team.
• Only online registration is available.
• Each team should assign a team leader at the time of registration.
• The QR code (containing all the information about the event) shall be provided only to the participating teams who are physically present at the venue during the time of the event.
• Mobile phones and other devices of communication will not be permitted during the event.
• The time allotted for finding the treasure will be 6 hours for all the teams.
• All clues are to be found in the numbered order.
• The entire team must stay together throughout the event.
• The event consists of 6 rounds: Rounds 1 and 2 will be conducted online and Rounds 3,4,5 and 6 will be conducted offline.
• A Certain number of teams will be eliminated in each round of the event.
• Any of the following reasons shall lead to disqualification of the team:
1. Damaging any properties.
2. Interfering with other teams or their members.
3. Copying or stealing from other teams.
4. Splitting up of teams.
• The organizers shall not be responsible in anyways for the simultaneous occurrence of other events. No excuses shall be accepted or no extra time shall be granted to the participants who have registered for any other event which is to be conducted during the same time.
• Organizers are free to make any changes which will be informed prior to the competition.

ABOUT

The event is a group event in which each team will have to make use of their creativity and team spirit to overcome the challenges to be the rulers. However, to rule, the participants must strategize, brush up their strength, complement each other, understand weaknesses, aim, target, and charge towards the goal. No matter how perfect the members are, the entire team should be strong enough in order to win the "Best Management Team".
The event is designed to challenge the teams in different fields of management and give each team the experience of being part of the EUPHORIA to the fullest. This event aims to test the participants’ decision-making, creative thinking, problem-solving skills and business approaches.

PHASES

RULES and regulations

• A team must consist of 4 members.
• There is no registration fee for the event.
• The registration portal will be closed on 04th August 2022.
• Both UG and PG students from any streams can participate in the event.
• No participant can be a member of more than one team.
• All members of a team should be from the same college.
• More than a team from the same college is allowed.
• Since it is a team event, only a single participant from each team needs to register. All the communications will be made through the registered email id.
• The event will take place in 4 phases.
• Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be conducted in Online mode on 06th August 2022.
• Phase 3 and Phase 4 will be conducted in Offline mode on 12th August 2022.
• Contestants those who cleared phase 1 are eligible to participate in phase 2 and those who cleared phase 2 will be eligible for participating in the further phases which will be conducted in the offline mode.
• Make sure that each team will have a laptop and stable internet connectivity for the phases which will be conducted through online (Phase 1 and Phase 2).
• Rules and descriptions regarding each phase will be communicated to the participants at least 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the respective phases., through their registered email Id.
• All the participants are requested to check their mail regularly since all the communication will be made through their registered mail Id only.
• We request all the participants to abide by the rules and regulations of the event and to strictly follow ethical standards.
• Participants must follow the specific set of guidelines for each phase which will be shared.
• Any kind of malpractices/ fraudulent activities will lead to the disqualification of the entire team.
• Privacy of the links provided during the events must be respected. It should not be shared or forwarded.
• In case of any unforeseen circumstances, the committee has the sole authority to make decisions.
• Any violation of rules will not be encouraged throughout the fest.
• The participant should bring their college ID cards or concerned letter from college without fail.
• The decisions of the judges and committees are final and binding.

RULES and regulations

• Only a team comprising of three members can register.
• The players coming for the finals must bring their own laptops for the event; if Laptop is not available, it should be mentioned during registration to the Event Coordinators. QR code will be provided to each team, which contains all the information based on the event.
• Players should use Discord or any other External method for communication except for In Game Communication.
• Disqualification will result in any of the following:
1. Damaging any properties.
2. Interfering with other teams or their members.
3. Using Cheats.
• Only the Registered players must play throughout the tournament.
• We are not responsible for those participants who register for more than one event that happens at the same time.
• Organizers are free to make any changes which will be informed prior to the competition.
